WASATCH FRONT ULTRA RELAY
(142.5 Miles of Heaven and Hell)
The 2013 Relay will be held July 12th and 13th.
The trail ultramarathon. Finishing one is an accomplishment many wish for, but few achieve. This is often not for lack of will or effort, but for lack of opportunity.
Well, here's your chance. If you ever wanted to run a trail ultra on one of the most challenging and historical ultramarathon race courses, this is a relay race for you. The REAL Wasatch relay.
It starts Friday 7/12/13 at 5:00am at the Homestead in Midway, Utah, and finishes at 5:00pm on Saturday. The race goes all the way to Big Mountain Pass north of I-80, and then back to the homestead for the finish. It traverses some of the most beautiful scenery and toughest trails in the West. The race course mainly follows the historic Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run trail.
Scare up five of your family or friends and build yourself a team for the WFUR. It will be challenging. It will be exhilarating. It will be miserable. But it will be fun. And we ain't WUFFING.
There will be twelve legs so each team member will run two legs: that's twelve legs to run twelve legs, right? The longest leg will be just under 14 miles.
Check out the details on this website. Meantime, get ready to run, walk, crawl or WUFF your way to the finish.
